About
Who am I? It depends what day you ask. Some days I am Ms. Stephens, an English teacher. Some days I am Ms. Keeley, the coolest youth leader ever. And some days I am just plain Keeley. Even though sometimes it seems I have multiple personalities because of the multiple roles I play, I try to be true to who I am. Wow that just sounded like Paula Abdul on American Idol!
So who am I you ask? I am a twenty-four year old woman, daughter, sister, friend, teacher, and youth leader. I live in Moncks Corner but am originally from Charleston. My students often tell me I sound as though I am from a completely different part of the country. And to them, being from Charleston makes me a Yankee. I don’t get it seeing as how they should be considered Yankees if anyone since they live more north. But I digress. I am a youth leader on the most amazing youth team ever at Pointe North Community Church. We average about 300 students each Wednesday. It’s awesome to be a part of a movement of God such as this. Before becoming a teacher, I graduated college from Charleston Southern University, and I am currently earning my Master’s degree there as well. I love learning as cheesy as that may sound. Often I miss writing research papers, searching for books in the library, and working for hours on a computer trying to put my thoughts on paper. Now I teach kids how to do just that. It’s a wonderful life and I get to live it!
